Acrylics on paper... It looks so dull T-T.

[edit: what I meant was: I had in mind an oil painting look but I only have acrylics, so it didn't layer as well as i hoped, and the yellow wasn't as bright. ]

Last minute piece for my AP art portfolio, which I am pissed over...I didn't realize slides would take so long to deliver, sooo I have to pay $71 bucks for them to HOPEFULLY be delivered in 2 days.

I disagree. I think that the colors are rich and bold, full of life...no where near dull. I hope to run across more of you work!

O_O dull in content? maybe, dull in skill/ colors? hardly. XD its nice and bright and i like the boldness, plus its not overworked (not that acrylics are overworkable) and the colors arent flat! nothing to complain about! good piece for the portfolio!

good luck with your portfolio.

Acrylics don't look as good as oils (in my opinion) but this is still a very striking piece

Your traditional art looks very good. Perhaps give painter X a try? It really gives a similar feel.
